AlienLabs first landed in the quiet town of Redding, California, where Lidie transformed his six-light grow operation into a launchpad for interstellar cannabis. From his humble homemade lab, he fused generational cultivation techniques with bold experimentation, charting a new course for cannabis innovation.

“Pheno hunting is the bread and butter of AlienLabs,” Lidie says of his process. “We pop about 4,000 seeds per year to get 500 plant positions, five times per year. So that’s about 2,500 different varieties we’re looking through per year in an effort to see what can make the menu.”
