Trulieve/Harvest Proudly Celebrates Martin Luther King Jr. Day 2023
With support from Trulieve’s African American Employee Resource Group and the Office of DEI & Social Impact
In observing this honored federal holiday, Trulieve and our partners celebrate the life and achievements of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a man who changed the face of modern history as one of America’s most influential civil rights leaders. In addition to team members participating in community events and days of service, stores will also partner and volunteer with local nonprofits to support initiatives across the country.
“As a company that strives to support the communities in which we work and live, honoring the life and service of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is directly aligned with our core values, as well as with the efforts of Trulieve’s dedicated Diversity, Equity & Inclusion team who pursue a shared mission of ‘Cultivating Community’," said John Calloway, Head of DEI & Social Impact. "We are honored to be part of celebrations in each of our regions. With Martin Luther King, Jr. Day being a nationwide day of service, our teams across the country are encouraged to get involved as boots on the ground for non-profits doing important work towards social justice. Many of us will humbly and reflectively take part in service projects, commemorative walks, and other community events as we remember the tireless efforts that must continue for equality.“
