Supporting the Autism Community

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is one of the most common developmental conditions, touching nearly every community. It is estimated that 1 in 31 children in the U.S. are affected by autism, which is typically diagnosed in early childhood and can affect communication, behavior, sensory processing, and emotional regulation.

While there is no cure, early diagnosis and access to supportive care can significantly improve outcomes. Many families focus on managing associated symptoms such as anxiety, irritability, sleep disturbances, and challenging behaviors. When used under appropriate medical supervision, medical cannabis is increasingly viewed as a supportive option for symptom management.

At Trulieve, helping patients is central to who we are, and we are proud to provide access to treatment options that may improve daily functioning and overall quality of life.

Register Roll-up: Change for Autism

Join us in April to help make a meaningful difference for individuals and families living with autism. Throughout the month, patients and customers in Arizona, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, and Maryland are invited to round up their purchase or donate a specific amount at the register in support of the Arizona Autism Coalition and Hope Grows for Autism. These organizations are dedicated to advocacy, education, and research to strengthen and support those affected by autism.

Arizona Autism Coalition

The Arizona Autism Coalition is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families. In partnership with organizations across Arizona, they expand access to vital resources and lead collaborative advocacy to drive lasting systems change, building a stronger future for Arizona’s autism community.

Hope Grows for Autism

Hope Grows for Autism is a nonprofit organization that supports individuals with autism and their families by advocating for cannabinoid‑based medicine as a treatment option for autism‑related symptoms. The organization focuses on education, research, and policy advocacy to reduce stigma, expand legal access, and help families navigate safe, informed use of medical cannabis while building a supportive community.

Local Action, Lasting Impact

Autism affects millions of children and families every day, with the number of diagnoses continuing to grow each year. This underscores the importance of awareness, access to care, and strong community‑based support for individuals on the autism spectrum and those who care for them.

Trulieve actively supports local organizations that expand access and provide vital resources. These efforts make a meaningful impact by strengthening families and building more inclusive communities.
