Steps to obtain an Ohio Medical Card:
In the meantime, make sure you’re enrolled in Ohio’s Medical Marijuana Control Program to have legally-approved access to cannabis. You can obtain your medical card through the following steps:
· Visit a certified physician who can confirm that you have one of the medical conditions that qualify for medical marijuana and have the physician create your profile in the Patient & Caregiver Registry.
· Confirm and complete your registration for the program through the Patient & Caregiver Registry.

Dr. William Troutt is a naturopathic medical doctor specializing in cannabis-based medicine and treatment, working exclusively in the cannabis industry since 2010. He has consulted with thousands of patients, providing extensive practical experience in safe and effective cannabis use and treatment.
Dr. Troutt also serves as a resource within the medical community, conducting formal lectures on safe and effective cannabis use, including presenting on cannabis and seizure disorders at the Mayo Clinic and discussing cannabis for palliative care during cancer treatment at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center. He is also a co-founder of the Medical Marijuana Research Institute and serves as the Executive Director for the organization Harvesting Hope. Dr. Troutt is looking forward to educating you and helping all cannabis patients in Ohio.
